Early life and Childhood
Sharad Veswakar grew up and spent his childhood in his birthplace United Arab Emirates (UAE). Although his father is from UAE his mother is originally from Nepal. So the family returned back to Nepal in 1995 after his father’s retirement. It was the country where he started to pursue his career in this field.
Sharad Vesawkar Career as Cricketer
Vesawkar first represented his country at Under-15 level, playing in the Under-15 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates in December 2002. In his second match against Qatar Under-15 he scored a century to win the man of the match award.
He made his debut for Nepal against UAE in March 2004. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. Initially he lacked Nepalese citizenship and he finally got his citizenship before the 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. And in return he paved the path of 2014 ICC World Twenty20 for Nepal. Punjab Lions invited Sharad to play IPL for their team in the year 2014. A successful cricketer has received Man of The Match many times.
