Sandeep Lamichhane is Nepali National Cricketer Player. He was born on 2 August 2000 in Aruchaur, Syangja and his age is 23 years old. His height is 5 feet 7 inches (1.73m). His father’s name is Chandra Narayan Lamichhane, an employee in Indian Railway and his mother is a housewife. He is a right-handed leg-spin bowler. He received huge acclamation after he succeeded to take the first wicket in his first debut match as a Nepalese Player in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sandeep Lamichhane Family
Sandeep Lamichane belongs to a middle-class Nepalese family of Arjunchaupari Rural Municipality Aaruchaur, Talpokhari in Syangja district.
He has a brother name Mohan Lamichhane and has a sister named Indu Lamichhane. His father took him to India for his higher studies and uplifting career. There he completed his studies up-to-the four class and returned back to the country. He loved Cricket from the very childhood and started playing this game with his friends.

Soon after few years, his family shifted to Chitwan where he joined Chitwan Cricket Academy. He was instructed by Raju Khadka there. He was successful to show his talents and skills there itself in the academy. National coach of National Cricket Team Nepal, Pubudu Dassanayake used to make a routine visit to Campa Chaur, Narayangarh.
Selection in U-19
This was the place that caught the eye of the couch onto his skills. Finally, Sandeep Lamichhane made his List A debut in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship on 16 April 2016 against Namibia on Kirtipur Ground. Prior to his List A debut, he was named in Nepal’s under-19 squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Similarly, with breakthrough achievement in their 2nd match against Ireland U-19 team, he took a hat-trick in the 32nd over of the match claiming the wickets of Lorcan Tucker, Adam Dennison, and Fiachra Tucker.
Selected for National Team
This pulled out more attention towards him. In September 2016 Sandeep Lamichhane received a letter from former Australian captain Michael Clarke, inviting him to play at the Sydney-based Western Suburbs District Cricket Club. That is the reason he considers Michael Clarke as his fortune maker.
Similarly making further records on and being selected for U-19 time, he took bowling figures of 5/8 which restricted the Malaysia U-19 team to total runs of 45. This also proved him to have more potential for him. Finally, he got selection under National Team for ICC World Cup Division-2, and against Namibia, he took four wickets just by giving 18 runs.

Selection for IPL
In January 2018, Sandeep Lamichhane was included in the list of players for auction in the 2018 Indian Premier League where his base price is ₹20 lakhs. Delhi Daredevils bought him at a base price and became the first Nepalese cricketer to get a contract in the Indian Premier League. Sandeep Lamichhane took a wicket for 25 runs on his debut match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. People praised him all over the world and even the Indian Prime Minister Took his name during his visit to Nepal.
So after his IPL debut and his wicket he was added to the ICC Rest of the World XI team, for the Twenty20 International match against the West Indies. This is another heart taking success in his career.
