Childhood and Education
Oshima Banu was born and raised in a Kathmandu with her family and friends. She is daughter of Hindu father and Muslim mother. She credits her mother for all the achievement she has gained.
Similarly, she completed her education up to high-school. Although she has interest in higher level education, she has not managed the time for it.
Oshima Banu Career
Oshima Banu started modeling in 2010 through TGIF Fashion Week. In the year 2012, she won the title of ‘Face of classic diamond’ organised by Classic Diamond Jewelers. She had a great interest to establish herself into modeling. So, she even a strong contestant of Miss Nepal 2013.
Along with modeling, she did some music videos, movies and advertisements.
She entered the Nepali Movie Industry with debut movie ‘Romeo’. The movie features Nisha Adhikari and Hassan Raza Khan. Both Hassan and Oshima were the first Muslim actor and actress to debut in Nepali Movie Industry. The movie was directed by Shankar Karki and written by Kiran Michael Ghimire.
