Childhood And Education
Nisha Adhikari was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. She completed her high school (Plus 2) education from ‘Bhanubhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School’. Then she moved USA to pursue her education in film studies from Wigan Leigh College. She also studied ‘film studies’ at New York Film Academy. Also, she is good friend of Reecha Sharma.

Nisha Adhikari began her career as an RJ for radio Kantipur. Later she worked as VJ in some of the popular programs including “Play it on”, “Countdown Kantipur”,”Indi Mini Bag” and much more.
Her debut Television program is “Gharbet Ba”. And her movie debut was in 2009 through ‘Mission Paisa’ opposite to actor Nikhil Upreti. The movie was successful and opened the path for the acting career. In 2010 she did movies ‘Nainra Resham’ and ‘First Love’.
Her role as a lesbian lover in ‘Soongava – the dance of orchids’ is also highly appreciated. And the movie was able to win national and international awards. Till the date, she has appeared in the movies like Soongava – the dance of orchids (2013), Padmini (2013), Dhunwaa Yo Nasha (2012), First Love (2010), Naina Resham (2010), Mission Paisa (2009).
