She studied bachelor’s degree in Arts (B.A.) from ‘P.K. Campus Kathmandu’. However, she completed her highschool studies from ‘Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dang’.

She made her debut in the movie “DaiJo” in opposite to Bhuwan KC. She started appearing in the movie from 1996 and till the date she has done more than twenty movies. Her other movies like Anjali, Sukha Dukha, Bhai-Tika, Purnima, ‘Siundo Ko Sindur’, ‘Muglan’ and much more. These movies acclaimed a good response from the audience and made her a superstar. She was also awarded with title ‘Best Actress KTV Film Award 2066’.
