Childhood and Education
Indira Joshi grew up in Nawaparasi district. She stayed there with her family. Born in mid-class family she started her career from her early age. She completed her primary Schooling from ‘Sayapatri Higher Secondary School’ in Nawalparasi. Later she moved to Kathmandu city for her career. She learned music from ‘Do Re Mi Music School’ in Kathmandu which is affiliated by ‘Maha Sangeet Bidhyalaya’.
She was passionate about her career from Childhood.
Indira Joshi Career
At the age of 10 years old she participated in program “Ko Bhanda Ko Kam” and even won the title. She then participated in popular show ‘Nepali Tara’ at the age of 17. She was the only female finalist there.
Later she released her debut album “Dance With Me” in the year 2011. This was the most successful album.
People believe that she imitates ‘Sakhira’ and also she is a great fan of her. So she is best known as ‘Nepali Shakira‘. She is also a model and dancer. She has participated in some of the fashion shows and also has own some of them.
