Abhaya Subba is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, and Rock star. She is the leading female Rock Star of Nepal. She is also an RJ and DJ. Abhaya has formerly worked in Times FM and Hits FM. She also runs different dance training programs in the town.

Abhaya Subba Musical Career
Abhaya Subba received the huge success with her current band, Abhaya & the Steam Injuns. The band was formed on 2 January 2003. Initially, they were involved in playing live gigs in hotels and lounge bars. Abhaya being the founder and lead singer in the Band has performed in a number of songs all over the country.
The Band has also conducted a number of Concerts internationally more than in Nepal. Originally from Darjeeling she has some influence of superstars and rock- stars from all around the world.
Abhaya Subba has participated in numerous concerts and international tours with her band, and other associated acts. On May 21, 2012, she appeared in the concert, Women In Concert 7. Concert tasked to celebrate the success of womanhood in the Nepali music industry. Its main motive and mission was to enhance the sectors like

Abhaya Subba Childhood
Abhaya Subba was born on 11 June in Darjeeling. She completed her LLB studies from St. Xaviers, Mumbai. She started her music career with a local band Parikrama back in India, and she worked from 1993 to 1995. Abhaya was also affiliated with other Rock bands, Red Skywalkers, and Punchtatva, respectively, before making it big with Abhaya & the Steam Injuns.
She also established and judged local talent program, Sprite Band Challenge- Freedom to Rock. This is one of her successful initiation in the development of Rock genre music in Nepal.
Coach in The Voice Of Nepal
Subba has also coached a raw talent show The Voice Of Nepal. She along with Pramod Kharel, Sanoop Poudel, and Deep Shrestha has couched the singers from all over the country. Abhaya formed her team namely “Team Abhaya” which had 14 contestants and further carried the music competition.

She has been successfully married to husband Kai Weise, who is a local architect in Nepal. She also has a son with her husband.
